Practio started in 2015 on an ambition to make quality healthcare accessible for everyone. Among the first in Europe, the company introduced vaccinations in community pharmacies in 2015, and built a digital platform enabling pharmacies to offer a range of primary healthcare services to the benefit of consumers, pharmacies, and healthcare systems across Europe.

When Covid struck in early 2020 it created a massive turmoil for its customer base across markets, the pharmacy industry, and the public health sector in which it operated. Within months the Practio team completely re-purposed the company and its platform to fighting the pandemic by operating vaccination centres in both UK and Denmark, completing more than 250.000 COVID-19 vaccinations.

The new owner of Practio, Carelink A/S, one of the largest private healthcare service providers in the Danish healthcare market, is uniquely positioned to realise the full potential of Practio and its technology platform going forward.
